BNI – Business Network International – my secret weapon

I belong to the Sky Valley Business Boosters Monroe chapter of BNI – Business Network International. BNI is a quietly-kept not-so secret, a for-fee referral society with a strict but humane code of conduct, an initial screening protocol, and over 200,000 members worldwide. BNI members who stay long-term can be counted on: we are building professional and personal relationships with each other, within our individual chapters and between chapters. Fraternity, no togas. So when we recommend services to our clients, neighbors, colleagues, friends and family, we’re doing so trusting that we are referring someone outstanding. These are the people we call for our own homes and offices.

I’m going to highlight members of my chapter in blog posts over the next few months, if they’ll cooperate – some of them don’t like spotlights. Maybe even some ‘mates from other chapters.
