Happy Holidays to my Readers – calendar, new feature on the website
HELLO!! I’ve added a new feature to the website, a calendar of organizing events around Washington such as shredding days, Fix-It Fairs, the recycling truck standing in a parking lot for a day, Scout troops coordinating fabric or tree drives. I’m not going to even pretend that I’m going to be consistent about adding news, partially because I always describe my schedule as a jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces, and partially because it’s actually not that easy to find happenings. It’s very very VERY likely that I’ll add events in big bunches – if I learn about 10 events from one flyer, all 10 events are going up at once – it’s just easier, so NYAH, live with it. Let me know what you think. Feel free to tell me about activities to include, point your colleagues, neighbors, friends and family to the darn thing, and ENJOY.
