Charity Choice Monday – libraries – RealChange 57
Libraries need books! Libraries need new books to replace old books. Libraries need books to keep current. Libraries need books to sell to me so I can continue acquiring Casual Uncluttering LLC depth and breadth.
And libraries need to sell books to host workshops, sponsor English-as-a-Second-Language classes, provide computers and printers to patrons, and especially veterans, looking for work, gather toddlers for storytime and so many other functions I’d run out of time to try to list them all here. Libraries are, in my humble opinion, some of the best expressions of human inventiveness and compassion we offer each other. If you’re curious, each time I’ve highlighted the word “libraries” by itself, I’ve linked to a different Puget Sound center. I’ve got cards for all of them – digital refugee.
