Charity Choice Monday – Traugott Terrace – Real Change 22
Traugott House is a “clean and sober apartment community.” Sheltering men and women, it is named after one of its founders, Traugott “Tom” Zurcher, whose compassion led him to lay its foundation in 1984.
A 501(c)3 within the (Catholic) Archdiocesan Housing Authority, Traugott House is “committed to fulfilling the vision of its namesake and founders by serving those who have been disenfranchised through alcohol and drug addiction. We strive for excellence by providing an atmosphere of dignity and respect for our tenants, staff, and partners.”
While it does not publish an explicit wish list, it admits to needing in-kind donations.
