Let it go, let it go… the tiniest fraction of Idina Mendel’s “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen (2013) whistles into my brain as I release things into the world. Jodi Benson’s “Part of Your World” from Disney’s Little Mermaid (1989) is the anti-Organizer anthem. I won’t encourage anyone by quoting it. And I admit there may be some wisdom in Marilyn Monroe’s “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend.” Except I prefer fossils I dig myself. Yes, I’m dating myself when I reference the 1949 classic Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
But my heroes, my soulmates – Diamond Rio. Stuff (1999). Ain’t gonna say no more.
