GiveBackBox – ingenuity to the rescue

These are dark days, my friends. Goodwills and other non-profits across America are closed, leaving the cars, garages, sheds, basements, attics and closets of Professional Organizers and their clients in maddening condition.

Making it worse before it gets better: a classic part of the process.

There is hope. We’re all buying necessities online right now and having them shipped to us. Empty that box of its 50 cans of tuna and 200 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, stuff it as full as you can of donation-quality items, go to GiveBackBox, get a pre-printed pre-paid label from GiveBackBox to a worthy charity and get that thing to a UPS, FedEx or USPS drop-off center NOW. Voila! I’ll let you go online and read GiveBackBox’s story and mission for yourself – not sure I’d do it justice.

There are more-complicated details about the possibility of limitations as to where you can drop things off. And there are a surprisingly limited number of recipient agencies accepting donations. But every single donation counts.
