Good News Omen for “my” charity Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center

I’ve previously posted that I think local newspapers are vital, easily accessible instruments for maintaining a person’s mental and emotional health. And so I consider it a tremendous good omen that, when I picked up vol. 43 no. 36, the June 10, 2019 issue of the Woodinville Weekly at my Banner Bank today (Wednesday June 12), it had a short piece on page 3 that Northwest Electric and Solar (NWES) of Kenmore is gifting a solar energy system to Little Bit Riding Center. That’s the therapeutic horsemanship program my NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals) Seattle Area chapter will be at on Saturday June 15 for a day of service.

HURRAY for Northwest Electric and Solar. The machinery will cut Little Bit’s electric bill by nearly half. And doing good for the environment – it’ll produce over 4,000 kilowatt hours a year. Win-win.

And thank you to Banner Bank for being customer-centered: I can grab a cup of coffee, a comfortable chair, and breath for a minute, readin’ da paper. Sunflower and Butterfly
