Grief
I learned this morning that a client of mine passed away very unexpectedly two weeks ago. The person telling me heard the tears coming to me and asked me not to cry, the person who passed had lived a wonderful life. I’d barely worked with this client, but my grief is real, strong and numbing. I feel a loss of someone filled with life and laughter, and gratitude that we had the chance to meet.
It’s a delicate balance for service providers, between professional and confidante, guide, coach and friend. At the moment, it’s a mystery for me where it merges.
