Humble Design Seattle Do-Over

Humble Design Seattle just lost its home.

Humble Design

“change(s) lives and communities by custom designing and fully furnishing home interiors for individuals, families and veterans emerging from homelessness.

We assist the transformation of lives in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, San Diego, and Seattle.” – quote from the national home page.

I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited: today is Thursday 4/26/2023. NAPO WA State (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals) was scheduled for a Day of Service with Humble Design Seattle on Saturday, this Saturday 4/29/2023. First in-person Day of Service since pre-COVID. Always one of my favorite collegial events of the year, I’ve participated in work days for Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, Rebuilding Together Seattle, Soles4Souls, University District Food Bank.

Saturday was just cancelled.

WAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meantime, Humble Design Seattle would appreciate any leads on a new warehouse space. They’re looking for around 10k sq. ft. of space. It doesn’t have to be traditional warehouse space, but they’d need somewhere to park & load our truck. Office space is ideal but not a necessity.

And we WILL reschedule!

From Little Bit Therapeutic Center
