I stole a client’s shoe covers

I stole a client’s shoe covers. Really nice ones: sturdy, washable, reusable, non-slip, beautiful blue, fuzzy-cute, would make lovely house slippers in a pinch. But that’s not why I stole them.

I stole them because 99% of the time, when clients want me to keep my shoes off in their house, I take off my shoes, wander around in socks, finish the day, put my shoes back on and leave. This time, my kind client offered me shoe covers. So I didn’t take off my shoes. Didn’t stick them somewhere near the front door. Didn’t feel bare feet. COMPLETELY FORGOT THE SHOE COVERS. Remembered them thirty minutes down the road. Habit is a powerful thing.

I’ve got a 10-pack, assorted colors, showing up next week. Client’ll have first pick of three of them. Wicca rule.
