International OCD Foundation Conference 2020 will be in Seattle
The Annual OCD Conference informs and empowers the OCD community by bringing together health professionals, researchers, individuals with OCD, and their loved ones, with the goal of educating all attendees about the latest treatments, research, and practice in OCD and related disorders. Thursday July 30, 2020 – Sunday August 2, 2020
The Annual Hoarding Meeting is back for its eighth year in 2020!
What is the Hoarding Meeting?
This “conference within a conference” offers an opportunity for a wide range of professionals in the hoarding community — from therapists to firefighters, housing inspectors, and other city officials — to learn how to most effectively and compassionately work with individuals with HD. Professionals will hear from leading researchers and experts in the field and will walk away with new understanding and practical strategies for working with those affected by HD.
The Annual Hoarding Meeting also provides critical information to individuals, families, and loved ones affected by hoarding disorder (HD), with the goal of improving access to effective and compassionate treatment and care.
The Meeting spans three days, including a full-day training for professionals who work with hoarding disorder on Thursday, two full days of presentations on Friday and Saturday, as well as evening support groups for those with HD as well as their family members and supporters.
How Do I Register?
The Hoarding Meeting is made up of tracks within the 27th Annual OCD Conference, as well as an optional Pre-Conference Training Session (PCTS) on Thursday. Registration will open March 2020.
The full schedule for the Annual Hoarding Meeting will be available April 2020.
