Not gonna keep this secret – new secret weapon for decluttering

My wonderful colleague Jean Prominski, Seattle Sparkle, has a Masters of Fine Art in Glass from Rhode Island School of Design, and used to be a professional glass blower for the world-famous Dale Chihuly. She’s also increasingly highly trained as a Professional Organizer, same driven data geek as me. And now she’s combined her passions into an exquisite, unique “Color to Declutter” coloring book.

I’m going to quote the third paragraph of her book to offer a glimpse of its tremendous worth:

“Each design in the pages that follow awaits your pen and pencils. As you color, you’ll also develop your planning and strategizing skills. Included on eqch page is a essence word that represents the design. Think about and feel the meaning of the word while you bring your personal rainbow to each letter and water crystal. Getting in touch with your emotional and sensory awareness of these words will help you understand your connections to the objects or ideas you want to organize in your life…”

If you like to color, buy this book. If you’ve never tried coloring, buy this book.

It’s a bit of playfulness any of us can enjoy.
