October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. And I thought I’d have some fun and try to count how many dog breeds I’ve met because of work.

Australian Shepherd, Boxer, Border Collie, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chihuahua, Dachshund, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Greyhound, Schipperke, Shiba Inu, Scottish Terrier. Those are just the ones I’m sure of. And mutts, lots of good old-fashioned mutts.

I LOVE MY JOB.

And in honor of Adopt a Shelter Month I’m going list all the shelters I most love and respect:

• ALL THE CITY CENTERS EVERYWHERE

And there many many many other amazing, awesome, centers filled with heroes helping floofs in need that I wish I could list, but the names would take pages. Find your favorite, help if you can, with your time, a donation, fostering, giving somebody with a cold nose or  twitching tail a forever home. And IMHO, a foster fail is the most noble fail of all.
