Real Change donates to me!
I have long respected Real Change, which I think does an admirable job of helping people empower themselves AND an outstanding job as an alternative news source (see my previous blog post “Connection and the News” for another perspective). And last night, while I was at the Phinney Neighborhood Association for a delightful cocktail hour, a terrific chance to meet people, I learned that Real Change produces a Resource Guide for Seattle’s homeless people, which I am going to eagerly pore over page-by-page. Another pointer to agencies which need gifts-in-kind, fabulous! Real Change will be getting a donation from me in gratitude.
