Shoe Cover Chicanery

I stole a client’s shoe covers last week. As promised, I’ve returned them threefold. They are pretty, really really really pretty, comfy and sturdy, and they will be a fabulous addition to my work kit. I’ve “repurposed” the light gray and dark blue for slippers.

My client had a good laugh on me. I hand her the pack. Invite her to pick her three. I slip on her new purple, and her new light green, grumbling outraged all the while because all 10 covers came out of the pack as mismatched singles. End the day, slide off her covers, and she starts giggling because I hadn’t realized each set came one foot’s worth tucked in the other.

It is HIGHLY unlikely I’ll forgot to put these on when asked. Still likely to forget to take them off. But at least I’ll have colorful feet. And I often encourage my clients to experiment with color.
