Furniture Repair Bank Seattle

My NAPO Washington State colleagues and I just had a great Day of Service at the Furniture Repair Bank in Seattle.

The Bank (from its homepage):

“Reducing waste, building resiliency… With the help of our dedicated volunteers and partners, we revive unwanted furniture and provide it to families in need, addressing climate issues and creating a positive impact locally… With several ways to give, your donation will ensure that we can continue to support refugee families, individuals emerging from homeless situations, young adults who have aged out of foster care, women fleeing domestic violence, and other people in need of timely help.” The dark blue side table on the shelves – I couldn’t resist. It now fills a need in my front hall.
