Messie Condo’s books

Messie Condo is good at organizing. If you can get past the cursing. Dis native Nu Yawker can get past the cursing. I simply read da books in a Brooklyn accent. And ya gotta get past the sarcasm. I tought Messie’s funny, even if Messie is from Jersey. Since I write a family-friendly (not THAT family, that’s Staten Island) blog, I won’t mention book titles. One book is a parody of Marie Kondo’s The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. The other looks at Swedish death cleaning, and may be a parody of Margareta Magnusson’s The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning. She just published a third book, but I haven’t gotten my hands on it yet – it’s the clean version of the Swedish death-cleaning parody.

She really is good at organizing. As I read her books, I found myself both nodding my head in agreement with her familiar observations, and getting surprised at new twists on old favorites. Worth a read if you like color.

I think Ms. Condo would agree.
