Trickster Mindset: Designing a Playful Life and Business – Alyea Sandovar – Playful Creative Summit 2020

Trickster Mindset: Designing a Playful Life and Business” – Alyea Sandovar – Playful Creative Summit 2020. Sandovar interviews David Chislett during the Summits; Chislett interviews Sandovar. Sandovar believes, fervently, that intuition sustains creativity. But intuition isn’t entirely spontaneous and creativity can be mindfully cultivated. She has a morning ritual to tap into both: she exercises, watches a funny video, finds something to enjoy or be un-self-conscious with such as a chance to dance, might write out and/or read something inspirational,  and acknowledges gratitude, in a space such as a garden when possible. She’s trying to get out of her own way, her worried hurried self, with this practice, trying to find quiet, consistency, calm, joy and peace.

“Intuition is not a single way of knowing – it’s our ability to hold space for uncertainty and our willingness to trust the many ways we’ve developed knowledge and insight, including instinct, experience, faith and reason.”
