Hat Head
I’m an entrepreneur. I wear many hats, some divine, some so ill-fitting I don’t dare slink around in them in public. And of course I get hat head – lose a check from a client, miss an appointment on occasion, break something. Today I got hat fingers. My super-supportive, cajoling Kitsap Clutter Controllers colleague, Sheila Taylor, has repeatedly urged me to use “before” and “after” displays when I present myself at health fairs and such. She’s built her own, and tells an enthralling tale about her efforts.
So I’ve built ’em, and have five kinds of glue giving my fingers a high gloss sheen to prove it. Start looking for their appearance at events like the Sno-Valley Senior Center‘s Only Leaves Should Fall! Falls Prevention Event 9/19/2018, 9:30AM – 12:00PM noon.

The kitchen cabinet came from a Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The sundries cabinet came from Goodwill. The bits and bobs in the cabinets are gifts from tolerant friends and family, thrift store finds, my own stuff re-imagined. The food cans were discards from Hopelink’s Kirkland Food Bank and Providence Regina House. There’s a fair bit of inspiration acquisitions which I couldn’t finally use. Those will go back to Goodwill. Reduce, reuse, recycle to perfection!
